This section provides additional details for California residents regarding their rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, "CCPA").
1. Your Right to Know and Access
You have the right to request that we disclose the specific pieces and categories of personal information we have collected about you, the sources of that information, our business purpose for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
-
Expanded Lookback: Unlike previous regulations, you may request access to personal information collected by ILS at any time on or after January 1, 2022.
-
Portability: We will provide this information in a portable, readily usable format within 45 days of a verified request.
2. Right to Opt-Out of Sharing
ILS does not sell your personal information for monetary consideration. However, we do "share" information for cross-context behavioral advertising (such as via Google Signals).
-
Global Privacy Control (GPC): Our Sites are technically configured to detect and honor GPC signals. If your browser transmits a GPC signal, we will automatically treat it as a valid request to opt-out of the "sharing" of your information.
-
Confirmation: Once a GPC signal is detected, our site will provide a visible indicator confirming: "Opt-Out Request Honored."
3. Sensitive Personal Information (SPI)
As an equipment financing company, we collect information that may be classified as "Sensitive" (such as financial account details or Social Security numbers).
-
Limited Use: We only use this sensitive information to provide the specific financing services you have requested, to maintain your account, or to comply with legal obligations.
-
No Profiling: We do not use your sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you for marketing or profiling purposes.
4. Right to Deletion and Correction
You have the right to request the deletion of your personal information or the correction of inaccurate data, subject to certain legal exemptions (such as data necessary to service an active lease, maintain a legal relationship, or comply with financial auditing laws).
5. Right to Non-Discrimination
We will never discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights. We will not deny you services, charge different prices, or provide a different level of quality if you choose to exercise your rights under the CCPA.
